Shipping & Delivery
Shipping rates for the Continental United States are as follows: On orders of one to five bottles, $1 handling charge plus estimated actual charges (typically UPS ground). Orders of six to 11 bottles pay $15 shipping and handling. If you order a case (i.e., 12 bottles) shipping is just $1. That’s right, one dollar. Expedited shipping and Alaska/Hawaii are a bit extra as well.
We do not ship to any overseas territories or non-U.S. addresses.
The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. If we ship your order and the common carrier is unable to deliver the product after their usual number of attempts, or if you provide an invalid delivery address and you do not make alternative arrangements for delivery with the common carrier in a timely manner, and the result is that the common carrier returns your order to us, please understand that you have forfeited your entire purchase price of your order and no refunds will be made. When a delivery fails we pay significant fees to the shipping company. If you provide an invalid delivery address and the carrier charges us a fee for correcting the address, we reserve the right to charge you that additional fee.
Sales Tax
Longplay Wine LLC charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped. Being in the alcoholic beverage business means licenses and permits are needed to ship wine to most states. This creates what is called a “nexus” and makes the interstate transaction taxable in the eyes of tax authorities.

Return Policy
Longplay Wine LLC reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.
We use high quality natural cork closures as well as screwcaps on our wines. If you receive a corked bottle or a bottle that is otherwise flawed, please let us know: we closely monitor the quality of our winemaking and our closure materials. In such instances, which we expect are rare, you may request that we refund the purchase price and charges associated with the corked or flawed bottle, or ask that we provide a replacement bottle at no charge on a subsequent order. The economics of shipping wine normally will preclude us from providing a single replacement bottle. You do not need to return the product to us, but if you will be in the area, we would appreciate the opportunity to examine the product to improve our processes.
Note that wine is sensitive to temperature. This is especially true of low-intervention wines like the wines we produce. If wine is improperly stored, in some instances bacteria can multiply in the bottle of wine resulting in unpleasant flavors. (This is true of other foodstuffs as well – please be mindful of your food storage and handling!) Please make an effort to store wine in a cool place, preferably where temperatures are around 54-60 degrees.
